This piece, still without a title, aims, on the one hand, to become a space of exploration for me as a creator and solo performer, centred on the ways in which women artists have been consistently undervalued and rarely placed at the centre of artistic discourse and of the Portuguese artistic landscape over the decades. At the same time, it is also an opportunity for me to surround myself with a group of women with whom I wish to collaborate in different ways.

The work therefore revolves around the possibilities of encounter, revisiting and reworking textual, musical and choreographic creations by various women, giving rise to and proposing an authorial discourse built around my body as both a subject and an object — discursive, political and disruptive.

It is about confronting loneliness, about the loneliness of women within a patriarchal society. With an entirely female team, the aim is also for this piece to function as a form of encounter, a place of shared solitude: not a collective, but a group of singular voices sharing the same space.
