Medo do Medo | 2027

MEDO DO MEDO stems from the experience of being a woman in the arts, exploring a broader condition: the constant feeling of never being enough. The fear of failing, of falling short, of not being enough. The urgency to do, to prove, to endure. As if there were always something missing, something more to achieve, something within us that needed to be corrected.

We put life on hold, insisting on meeting expectations, holding on, resisting, without ever quite knowing what we are trying to protect, or what we end up losing by trying so hard to protect it.

This is a delicate solo that begins with the idea of a form we try to preserve. We shape ourselves, hold ourselves back, learn to conceal and to endure. Between delicacy and toughness, vulnerability and restraint, the body searches for an impossible balance between who we are and who we feel we ought to be.
